Why Clean Your Building Surfaces
Contaminants such as algae, mould and water staining can dramatically impact both the look and the fabric of your building. Strata Cleaning Limited provide a range of services to professionally clean and enhance the look of a wide selection of building surfaces.
We are authorised suppliers of the Algoclear range of products that effectively and safely restore the external appearance of many types of buildings.
Solutions
Softwash systems - A low pressure wash and soft brush technique used on external surfaces to apply the chemical and agitate the surface.
Hot & Cold Pressure Wash - Not commonly used as it can damage the surface, but suitable for specific surfaces and contaminants.
Thermatech System - This is a steam based system We use it on stone & brick surfaces. It will achieve temperatures of 150°C at the nozzle. We can vary the temperature and pressure to remove either many types of paint, graffiti or biological matter.
The Process
The onsite assessment will clarify the best solution for you. The test will confirm the chemical and equipment is correct.
We will then confirm the project cost and the timescale required to see the level of improvement needed. This can range from hours - to weeks depending on the type of stain and building fabric.
We operate throughout the UK and currently provide this Cladding & Render Cleaning to a number of major retailers both as a remedial clean and an ongoing periodic service.

Project: University of Edinburgh Dilapidation Works
Description: As part of a major renovation of the building fabric a number of areas of the building were to be cleaned. These included cladding and fascia and dry dash rendered areas
Process
Cladding and Fascia were cleaned using our soft-wash system with pure water and detergents where necessary
Dry Dash Rendered areas were cleaned with Algo Clear Pro to remove algae and staining
Finished face blockwork was deep cleaned with the DOFF system to remove graffiti and staining
Feedback: The feedback to the main contractor and ourselves was excellent. The whole building has taken on a completely new look and further work is inn the planning stage
